Biomass Steam Solution for Crude Palm Oil Production
Palm oil mill boiler is an industrial steam generator that uses palm biomass byproducts as fuel to produce steam for sterilization, oil clarification, kernel drying, and cogeneration. Every ton of CPO generates ~23% EFB, 13% fiber, and 5.5% PKS – all excellent biomass fuels.
Unlike standard boilers, Yuanda’s palm oil mill boilers are engineered to burn palm kernel shells (PKS), empty fruit bunches (EFB), and mesocarp fiber – turning mill waste into reliable steam and power. Reduce fuel cost by 50–70% while solving disposal problems. ASME/CE certified, with 86–90% thermal efficiency.
Key benefit: Mills using Yuanda boilers achieve energy self-sufficiency and can even export surplus power to the grid.
High-performance water-tube biomass boiler designed specifically for palm oil mill fuels – including PKS, EFB, and fiber blends. The boiler features a double-drum, membrane water-wall structure with an optimized furnace arch and staged air supply for complete, stable combustion.
Two grate options available to match your fuel:
Chain grate (SZL type) – Ideal for standard biomass fuels like PKS and dry fiber. Delivers uniform fuel distribution and easy maintenance.
Reciprocating grate (SZW type) – Engineered for high-moisture, high-ash fuels (wet EFB, fiber). The moving grate automatically breaks slag and removes ash, ensuring stable operation. Handles challenging palm residues.
Compact, cost-effective solution for smaller or medium-scale palm oil mills.
The DZL series combines water tubes and fire tubes in a single drum, offering a compact footprint with reliable performance. The large water volume provides excellent load-following capability during fluctuating steam demands (common in batch sterilization operations).

Ideal for large-scale cogeneration requiring ultra-low emissions and high efficiency.
The BFB boiler uses an inert bed material (sand) fluidized by primary air, creating a turbulent mixing zone that achieves uniform combustion of even the most variable palm biomass fuels. Fluidized bed technology also inherently controls NOx formation due to lower combustion temperatures.

Advantages: Ultra-low NOx emissions (≤150 mg/Nm³), fuel flexibility (can co-fire PKS, fiber, EFB, even low-grade coal), high combustion efficiency (88–90%)
